Kenneth J. Hamada DDS
Dr. Kenneth Hamada is a graduate of the College of Idaho, now known as Albertson’s College of Idaho with a Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology and a minor in Psychology. He then attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1968. He then entered active duty in the US Army Dental Corp at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas then to Ft. Riley, Kansas in Junction City, Kansas. Dr. Hamada was then accepted into an Oral Surgery residency at Irwin Army Hospital and remained at the hospital for the duration of his tour doing hospital and general dentistry. As one of two general dentists assigned to Irwin Army Hospital, he took advantage of the opportunity to study and work with many of the medical specialties in the hospital giving him a greater diversity of knowledge than his original training permitted. Dr. Hamada separated from the Army and opened a practice in Lake City, Washington in 1971, where he practiced for 14 years. He then moved and built his office in its present location in 1984 in Shoreline. In 1998, he decided the large practice was too much work and not enjoyable, so he created a smaller, more intimate practice that he has now developed as a one on one care practice. This allows time for a more enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for everyone. Business Office Coordinator
